The Ultimate version is what we've got now. It's not only welded, but also reinforced with a a laser-cut steel section that has been welded on to support it and spread the load. This is a modification Charlie has developed for racing and is fitted to the Super Monza. On that basis I'd guess it should be fine, but it would still be better for everyone if the flywheel was strong enough out of the box to cope.
