hello
geting my stage 4 engine back on the go after blowing it up last sumer.... ( hole in the piston )
can anybody give me info on a ballpark jeting or starting point
stage 4 new engine by andy francis, JL 3 exaust, ram air filter.
my actual seting is
30 mil delly PHBH
AV 266
125
70
50
slide n°40
X7 second notch from the top
screw out 2.5 turns

Jetting isnt a million miles out as a starting point, but if you holed a piston i would:
Check timing, and set to 18 degreees
Consider an MTech unit from Chiselspeed to retard at higher revs
Try an X13 needle on second clip, a 52 pilot and a 128/130 main and see how it responds (change jets one at a time so you know whats happening)
Do those 3 things as your first port of call and see how it goes from there, do plug chops (or get it dynoed) also check for warped cyliunder head and any air leak possibilities.
