malossi barrel porting

how much of a gain do you get by porting a 210 malossi barrel & matching the cases i think ive seen a thred some where on how to do it but i cant remember where ? any one thanks jum.

There was an article in scootering a couple of years back I think. If you slap the kit on with no modifications, you'll get around 13 bhp. It's when you match the casings that you really get the power.

actually ,the power is only released and realised from the kit if you follow malossis instructions...
as in matching cases of course but by more importantly also cutting modifying the crank .
the barrells are fine and do not require any porting work for most applications although there are gains to be had by modyfying the piston .

hi cases are matched to the barrel malossil reedblock 30mm delli v cut & flowed crank. i might be being greedy but want a bit more i see some where worb5 do porting work to the barrel but cant remmber where i saw it now want to change the malossi reedblock ie mb mmw lth any suggestions much appreciated. jum

id leave the block as its a lot closer to the inlet than any of the other reed blocks ;)

I have a malossi 210 with matched cases no porting to barrel or piston, 60mm crank ,mmw evo2 reed it made 21.98 hp on the dyno not to bad I think ?
