who tests gears and engine components to find out if they need hot or cold treatment, in this case they both
had cold treatment (frozen). The clutch was going to be the MB six plate ( packer plate ) with thin steels and
corks to make a 8 plate clutch.
The thing is i've decided to sell the engine to put the money into something different,
All the work was done by Mark at MB Developments a good few years ago and has done a great job on it. I'm
selling the engine case (Spanish) with the YZ 250 cylinder, piston, head, crank, 38mil Mikuni, and full Krober
race ignition. The top end is all original Yamaha YZ, and I have new gaskets
and o rings still in the packs. All the parts are new and unused.
If your intrested in buying it give me a call on 07791220193, or call Al at Diablo.
The engine can be bought as described or finished as a complete engine at extra cost.

I took it apart to show all the work and how it was done, I'm now going to put all the top end back together so I can take some photos and put them on tomorrow, I think there are some with the crank in and drive sprocket on, the rest of the motor I can build if someone wants to buy it, but the important part is the top end.Hope this helps Rickspeed.

The gearbox's I have are tested and treated and not just treated, so with the best quality parts all measures are taken to prevent it,
