Hi.
I am confused by the options in Lambretta clutch.
Possibilities:
1-Original: standard clutch sprocket with 4 original size clutch plates + 3 steel plates.
2-Standard clutch sprocket with 5 thin clutch plates/steel plates.
3-Modified clutch sprocket for 5 original size plates + 4 steel plates. This one can use with 4 plates with more room.
4-Modified clutch sprocket with 6 thin clutch plates/steel plates.
Is this correct?
Then there are different clutch spiders:
1-Original size
2-With long "arms", i think that the foxhat one is this type.
I know that there are different types of steel, CNC, reinforced, ....
But the question is, with the long "arms" one this can touch in the kick start shaft?
Thanks!

The Foxhat has longer legs and is best suited with an MB crownwheel (these play a significant part) they also use thinner plates and steels and I believe you can fit up to 8 plates if required. They are the best standard type clutch upgrade IMO but not always necessary depending on you engine performance.
Hope this helps

Yes, i know that foxhat spider is top.
There are no reason to use with a standard clutch sprocket, and i understand that this cant be used with a standard clutch sprocket, because can touch in the kick start shaft, no?

I think it can be used with a standard sprocket but don't know why you would want to as this will restrict the number of plates and negate the reason for the Foxhat
