I notice from Dan's etching above, that the distance from the base of the transfers/exhaust port is 59mm. Hooray. It needs to be 58mm to match the stroke, but it is often 55mm on the RB22, leading to some really wild transfer timings on the bigger engine.
It is certainly a tempting kit....... I have some welded-up cases, and a GP crank with a 116mm rod already fitted. Nice. Unfortunately, the rod is a standard TV item, so it is unlikely to withstand 22bhp.
