Fantastic piece of kit that has run when its had loose head nuts, no exhuast, totally snapped off at the stub manifold, it gets ragged, I use any petrol I can find, had fully synth in it, crappy own make oil, part synth etc, in fact again, anything I ca...

Re: TS1 Clutch Options

Re: Bearing options
A friend brought a cheap set of bearings off ebay, marked 'SKF' but also 'made in India' I advised not to use them but he did, got 3/4 of the way home from Mersea and he broke down, electrical probs, on investigation he found the mag side bearing collar had broke in half causing the flywheel to osci...

Re: Mpg figures
Ts1 225 approx 36 mpg, SX gears on the way to Mersea so lots of fast road use.
Stage four 200, ancilloti, reamed jetex thru drilled air box, approx 49 mpg, SX gears, 16 x 46, comuting to work so lots of stops and starts.
Both full bodied, 15.5-16 stone rider solo.

Re: MB Reed Block for Piston Port.
Coaster, did you alter the angle of the transfer feeds or just raise them with a similar shape/slope/angle (if you follow)?? I'm carving up a cheapo ebay alloy 185 at the mintue, the ports were shocking, gonna use a RD350LC piston, plenty of over sizes as long as it runs ok! so wanna get it right, m...
