i used to have a stainless devtour i was`nt impressed it kept cracking luckily i knew someone who could tig weld stainless for free

but then managed to get hold of an original mildsteel devtour and its ace

got 18 47 and pacemaker box ,dellorto 34mil and original mildsteel devtour good for 80 two up flat out plus luggage, i am about 14 stone an the missus is about 9 stone so the lammy dont pull bad really

i was always under impression that these conversions were s**t they used to be used on vespas and they were a waste of time then

cheers , i am thinking now i might have the wrong bracket (is there different brackets!) and if i can get it too fit i was going to wire up the bolts to try and stop it coming off

does anybody know how the bracket that fits on the tube is supposed to miss the the brake pedal and the right hand side front legsheid support cause it looks like will have to cut the support and i would of thought that the bracket would of been manafactured so as not to cut anything , perhaps i am ...

just reading about you ridin the scooter beyond normal means for twenty miles is NO test of a gearbox if any thing it just says you had a full tank of gas and a spare half hour so perhaps you ought to testit properly and then report back on these pages , cheers
