Re: Thoughts on Mugello 186 port timings

As many of you know, the ride went well.

I had a cruising speed of between 55 and 60mph, with a top (on the flat) of about 70mph.

22mm Dellorto, Ancillotti Exhaust.

Re: VHB 30 settings

ah, you kind of have to know the history of the scoot. Those embellishers were on it when I did the Milano-Taranto in 2011. I'm actually in the graphics which were taken on the ride :-) Yes, going open mouth. I'm going to get a repro side panel to cut.... just can't stomach the idea of cutting up pe...

Re: Scottish Six Days Trials Replica

By the way, wasn't joking, that was a smooth bit. Sometimes the corrugations were so bad that it was like hitting brick wall. Just after that video, a 4WD came round the corner on my side of the road, forced me over, I hit gravel, came off and broke my collar bone. I was 50km from the nearest help. ...

Re: Scottish Six Days Trials Replica

Well if you'd paid attention, you could've done the Australian 23 Days Trial, where the first 800km of the total 7000km was Dirt. And for some sections, calling it Dirt was being kind. Kind of makes the UK coast to coast look a bit pathetic really :-o a small puddle: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-l_fEKJ...

Re: Misano Supercases.....

Mine was the prototype and it was deliberately set up to be frugal with fuel (There not being much fuel in the middle of the great bugger all). All 3 we have for sale are big block (so 200 and above). To be honest, if someone is going to spend that kind of money on an engine casing, I reckon they'll...
