Re: Pro Design Lambretta series 3 rear toolbox
actually the "german" version as you call it is powdercoated by design and only costs EUR 49,- which is a lot cheaper then GBP 60,-. Additionally it is tried and tested on Li S2/S3, SX/Special/TV and DL/GP - meaning it fits under all these panels without contact to the panel or the brakedr...

Re: best winter tire ??
the best winter tire is the IRC urban snow. I have a set of 3,50-10s on my silver special right now. I first tested them for 30 minutes on 20cm fresh powder. I was stunned by the amount of grip they provided. Of course hard cornering is impossible, but I could manage 65kmh on the snowcovered ground ...

any pics yet form the internal rear disc brake? can´t find them on your website, although I did see some interesting things with a billet crankcase and a 2-cylinder conversion.

Re: Here's a new MBD speedo in Mouses new headset.
mine never worked properly again after loosing the battery charge over the winter season. still waiting for an exchange via philipp/SCK. another speedo just won´t do, can´t use a speedo-cable. hopefully this project has not yet been dropped due to all the new stuff.

Re: exhaust Wrap...
this is my 2.5 inch wide graphite black thermotec wrap on my fat mamba (wrapped in the double fashion as already stated). snuggly fit underneath the floorboards of my S2. 3500km and a season later it still looks pretty much the same, only closer to the downpipe it is a little bit oily because the sl...

Re: exhaust Wrap...
yes, thats exactly what i meant. proofing? you mean like in sealing? against what? my wraps are untreated. i do know of someone who injected fertan into the wrap and almost had his complete exhaust eaten up by this. in my opinion any rust prevention has to be done on the metal itself before you wrap...

Re: exhaust Wrap...
there are many different wraps on the market. the best by far IMHO is from thermo-tec. i use the graphite black one on both of my TS1 machines. http://www.thermotec.com/products/11021-exhaust-insulating-header-wrap-graphite-black.html for rustprotection underneath the wrap i use VHT paint http://www...

Re: Here's a new MBD speedo in Mouses new headset.
the battery in my speedo died. most likely because of the constant freezing cold this winter and the general lack of use of the speedo. do i need to change the battery (and if how?) or is it going to be revived upon firing up the scoot? i take it i need to set it up from scratch though?!
