Re: CLUTCH HELP NEEDED
Yes I've checked out a couple that are on YouTube. Very interesting. The thing that I found interesting was when they said that the down side to a hydraulic clutch is the fact that its hard to tell the bite point of the clutch as its not being feed via a cable and via fluid and therefore its hard to...

Re: CLUTCH HELP NEEDED
Or use an Easy Clutch..... Simple Mechanical device that sits in-line on the cable. http://www.roadandtrials.co.uk/buy/Apico-Apico-Easy-Clutch/apico-easyclutch These little devices have been for sale at Beedspeed for quite some time. I always thought they were a bit of a gimmick and never thought t...

Re: CLUTCH HELP NEEDED
Must admit its the AF road that I've kind of been thinking about. It ticks most of the boxes for me. Was a bit concerned reading that the quality of the parts wasn't that great. But like you say at around £225 it seems a good buy. Did add up all the ATOMIC clutch parts and when you have finished buy...

Re: CLUTCH HELP NEEDED
If it's really an issue there is a hydraulic clutch conversion available which would tick all the boxes. Not cheap though. certainly more than £40 :D Its not that much of a problem. Its finding the comfortable solution at a reasonable price. Pulling in a well set up standard clutch isn't a problem....

Yep did see the MB springs and also I've read a good nylon lined clutch cable routed correctly is a help as well. Even thinking of the Yamaha lever conversion if it helps !

Re: CLUTCH HELP NEEDED
My engine set up is an slightly tuned imola 186. Paul at replay said it should put out about 25 BHP. So yes if I could get away with standard set up it would save me money. At the moment I've got a 5plate kit to go in it with springs from Darrell Taylor. I know that there are a lot of contributing f...

CLUTCH HELP NEEDED
I have been researching all the different kind of clutch setups that are out there today but I still can't find the answers to the main question that is on my mind. My main concern is that I have a slightly weak left hand so while sitting traffic and having to use the clutch quite often my hand star...

Re: Which Rear Hub
Thanks for the advice. I have decided to reuse my old hub. I took my engine to be vapour blasted and took my hub with me to see if they could clean it up and retap the extractor holes for me. No problem he said. So that should save me a few pounds. And I get to keep the original serveta hub.
