With the seize lining up perfectly with the transfers could you suggest that at full throttle the transfer stream is what is actually keeping the piston cool and preventing seizure (or detonation)? Just looked at a new standard race ,If you dismantle two races the you could have enough bearings to have a loose set for the top ,in theory this could be a better .I don`t think this would be as good as a Tapered bearing Set Yeah ive been doing that Ted, two standards stripped down give enough loo...

Yeah problem im finding is with the top bearings. Ive got a twin Mito disc and brembo with anti dive and its smashing the top to bits. Ive tried with the cage and then the loose ball method but after a couple of races everythings loose again and the balls are getting mashed. Bottom is ok but its the...

Yead did a search first but couldnt find anything specific. Theres a couple of threads where people have mentioned doing it but nothing specific, unless im missing something blindingly obvious

I'm trying to improve the handling and ease of fitting of the front end on my race Lambretta. Has anyone done a taper bearing conversion to suit a Lambretta frame? I've got the frame loop from an Indian GP I just chopped up for racing if its any good?
I could chop the back section off for you if you want for the cost of postage. Im not sure if they differ from LI to GP in this section of the loop but its yours if you want it.
