Re: Fuel.

A contentious debate that often comes up. I was always told to avoid the Super fuels because of the amount of cleaners in them. The last thing you want is all that lovely oil being washed away from your big end bearing. Was never sure if this was the case or not??????? In my TS1 I've always stuck to...

Re: Barry - Bikesure European Cover

Thanks for the reply Barry. As with all insurance things the policy is quite complicated. Relay will be the one I'm after. I'm sure I won't be able to get a local French garage to fix a holed TS1. I just need to be assured that the scoot and I will be taken back to the ferry and picked up again on t...

Barry - Bikesure European Cover

Were thinking of a long weekend in France next year. I'm currently with Bikesure and the renewl is before we go. RAC will not cover bikes over 15yrs old. AA will not cover bikes under 200cc and we have an Imola going with us. Anyone insured with Bikesure and had the misfortune of breaking down in Fr...

Sourcing Black Faced Lambretta Speedo

Need a bit of help sourcing a particular speedo.
I'm trying to find a 120mph speedo with a black face and green numbers.
Anyone knows who sells these?

Many thanks

Re: Brake Squeal From Scoots RS Outboard

Just wanted to post up a reply has I hate these unfinished posts. rosscla, looks like that worked a treat putting copper slip on the back of the pads. It seems there is a certain amount of movement of the pads on the caliper pins. Under slow braking (coming up to lights etc) the pads grip the disc a...

Brake Squeal From Scoots RS Outboard

Need a bit of help. Scoots RS outboard disc. Pistons seized so replaced the caliper with a new nissin one and new pads. Now when braking under 10 miles an hour(coasting up to lights etc) I'm getting squealing. If I pull the brakes on harder this goes. Anyone else had this? What is the best way to st...

Thanks Toddy.

A little bit of "willy waving" never hurt anyone
For custom scoots and people making their scoots a bit individual, this is defo the website to be on.
