Re: Cyclone 5
Mine blew up at 30mph and destroyed my engine case.It had been fine up until that point and showed no signs that anything was wrong.I had a lot of money invested in that case as it was set up for an LC barrel,in fact the whole scoot was built around that case.I still haven't got over it and haven't ...

Re: Targa Damper Fitment
Mine are fitted with a PM double disc,so the fork links are swapped ,which means welding a place for the damper to bolt to.At the top the damper is mounted to the outside of the bracket.i used a nylon spacer inside the bracket and a long bolt through the lot.Works well for me.Hope this helps

Re: pro design bullet
Thanks Mike.Your cutdown looks like my sx200 cutdown from the mid 80's.
A cutdown is in my future again, have most of the parts, but not enough time for all my projects.

Re: pro design bullet
Already done that and kx250 pipe.I'm not that good a welder and have never been that happy with my pipes.Just looking to put on a performance pipe with proven abilities with minor modifications.
A custom pipe is out of the question as I'm in the USA

Re: SEVEN performance parts
I might be in to one for my kdx as well. When I pull the engine i'll make some drawings as my inlet is pointing a few degrees forward,so the carb doesn't hit the engine mount.

Re: 225
I'm currently building a cast iron 225 with an new style mb reed. This is an old barrel I had on my first scoot when I moved to the States. It had a mb 6 petal reed block on it and a TS1 piston with a boost port in the back wall.It used to fly ,but was too loud from the inlet.Hoping the new mb reed wi...

Re: step by step watercooled lambretta kdx220 setup
The scoot is a lot of fun, last dyno was 38 hp,but has since been slightly detuned as the compression was too high, too hard to kick over and kept blowing the head gasket. The camera is a Drift 170hd mounted to my helmet with a Sony mic facing backwards on my sprint rack.
