Gearbox rebuild,
I have recently rebuilt my gearbox series 3 GP, I followed sticky's book for assistance. The confusion lies in the order the gears are placed, the book says 4th flat side down with boss side up toward endplate. And the 3rd & 2nd boss side up until 1st. Other sources say fourth flat side down bos...

Re: BGM LED light for GP
I had to remove the reflector and then file down the tops of the dish to create two flat surface, I used a silicone sealant to fix it. Sealants allow vibration better than glueing it.

Re: Drive side Bearing query
Thanks for that, it was because I ordered from bearing, don't know if by mistake koyo 2rs ecp, they are steel inserts with rubber lip. I pulled one side, and didn't know if ecp would work. I know the lip is not substitute just an addition to the main seal.

Drive side Bearing query
I have a question about bearings particular the drive side, The required one is the 6305 c3 using good name brands like FAG, SKF, Koyo etc. There is various sites saying that a 6305 2rs can be used, with just removing one seal on one side. This gives a extra seal in addition to the drive side plate ...

Re: Basic Carb set up question on 26mm Mikuni
After further Googling, i found that an outer diameter on the spigot side of 33mm and a outer diameter of the inlet side of 44mm, it is a VM28 model in the TM flat series. Hence your confusion. Thank you for helping me clear this up. Does anyone have some basic jetting sizes for it? As the sizes men...

Re: Basic Carb set up question on 26mm Mikuni
Hi Yamlam got the old digital gauge out, 33mm for the outer diameter on the spigot side of the carb, with a 25.98mm inner diameter..does this make any more sense?
