Re: Casatronic problems
No mate, no instructions or info came with it. I'll try CamLam but it's hard to get an answer on the phone.

Re: Casatronic problems
Thanks. I was going to do that. Are the readings the same as a standard electronic stator plate? If not, anyone have the correct readings?

Re: Hydraulic route through series 2 headset??
I removed the headset pinchbolt and replaced it with a series three bolt which is shorter. This gave enough space to route the hydraulic hose through the pinchbolt hole. Don't forget to put the rubber protective sheath on.

Casatronic problems
Recently fitted a brand new Casatronic kit. Set it up exactly as described on the Casa video on YouTube. I now have a misfire at low revs but only when riding. Rev up in neutral and it's fine. Also, rear light is flickering at low revs which was perfect before fitting the Casa kit. Any ideas anyone?

Re: Timing Casatronic
Cheers guys. As I said not looking for any increases in speed, just reliability. I haven't fitted the engine back in the frame yet as it's just had a full rebuild so I'll let you know how it goes. 24-16 seems to be favourite as far as I can see. Thanks for your comments

Re: Timing Casatronic
Reason for fitting is because fed up of replacing crap quality Indian stators. Even the BGM wasn't up to its name. I've had problems with the running of this standard engine so everything has been replaced now with good quality parts. As for the intended use, well general local riding and the usual ...

Re: Timing Casatronic
So does 24 sound right at fast idle? Or should it be less?

Timing Casatronic
Hi. Fitting a Casatronic kit to a standard 200 engine. On the CASA video on YouTube it suggests 24 degrees at 2000 revs. Anyone fitted this kit and know the ideal timing set up? Cheers

Jetting Dellorto PHBH 28mm
Hi. I've looked through the carb set up section on here but can't find anything to match mine.
Standard SIL200 apart from Asso piston, Casatronic ignition, 42mm AF clubman. Anyone know a good starting point with the jetting for the 28mm carb. Will be fitting a Ramair filter. Any ideas welcomed.
