Re: GT big block experiance

Here's mine, running 25mm carb through air box with BGM exhaust, done about 600 mikes and looking forward to the run to Wollacombe. The one behind has. GT186 kit with 30mm carb and very happy. Thinking of dong a GT225/230 soon. http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk50/KeithJHillman/imagejpg2_zpsd63ee...

Re: New Big Block Gran Turismo Kit 200-245cc

Looking forward to receiving mine and hope to have it up and running ASAP after Christmas. Going for LHS to keep standard looks with a BGM exhaust (currently out of stock!) and pacemaker gearbox, 58 107 HPC crank - going for a good touring set up.

Thank Rich for all the help

cheers

Keith

Re: Motorcycle petrol cap?

Hi thank you for explaining how to do this and sharing the photos. Looks like retaining the original cap underneath is the easiest option, however I have short fingers

Re: Motorcycle petrol Tao?

One with a flip opening like this - have seen them fitted but is it an easy job? Will be taking the frame to do a bit of welding and wanted to get this mod done at same time: Hope this works! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Yamaha-YZF-750-SP-Motorcycle-Motorbike-petrol-cap-1993-1996-/390557454953?pt=UK_Mo...

Re: Peel Hill climber Project

Hope to pick up from welder in next couple of days, front struts have been moved back about an inch so series 3 leg shields will fit and had a few holes filled in. Then off to have the frame and bits blasted and powder coated. Will be on the road in 4 months! Going to do it in Lotus British Racing G...

Re: Peel Hill climber Project

Hi Argentopercarter, Thank you for the very helpful information. Knew it was Rod but didn't know his surname. Are you able to let me know where you found the info as would be useful to have the source and be able to print it and retain for future reference. I have a new set of leg shields for it and...

Peel Hill climber Project

This was going to be a winter project 4 years ago! Finally getting it sorted. Here is a pic of it in 1969 (I think) http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk50/KeithJHillman/befa_121_zps4ccfc662.jpg This was taken when I bought it from Rod: http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk50/KeithJHillman/dd2d_31_z...

Re: T5 Cutting Out

Thanks for the advice - not familiar with Vespas but think it must be something electrical, will have to work out how to take the side panels off first! Bought it so my son could take his test and he passed last November. Lambrettas are my passion.

Cheers
