Re: exhaust mountings, solid or rubber mounted, thoughts ?

my thought is you must have all solid mounting or all flexible mounts and not a mix of either. used to have a Mickek that bobbins on the body and solid downpipe......always was going to crack and did.

177cc/si20/20

Can vespa 177 kits be successfully run with si 20/20 carbs or is 24/24 a necessity. mine would be a BGM in this instance, but also like the look of VMC.

Re: lower rear end

some shocks are shorter, and there are different lengths of spacer at the top which could be omitted as well maybe. bear in mind this would bring the exhaust closer to ground

V force reed, are they worth it?

curious to know , has anybody used the v Force reed in a Minarelli based bolt on manifold i.e LTH, Atomic and is there anything to be gained for the quite considerable price difference. I know they are an upgrade for TS1 but have not seen anything on this application

Re: whats the verdict on 24mm PWK carbs ?

thank you Nick . so it looks like there are no real issues about connecting choke and throttle cables . you might have to reduce the size of the soldered nipples on the cables a bit with a file or emery to allow them to fit in the recess of slide and choke plunger and I had to make a new choke oute...
