That was one of the worries, it seems the newer version looks more suited to a tuned engine.
It was the sound and the cosmetic look that is appealing. Wanted to get away from the standard look.

Px200 polini exhaust
Thinking of replacing my sito +, i have had a polini on a px125 before.
I know these are still available but there is a Mk2 version as well.
Does the mk2 exit right side also, is it any better peformance wise. It would be going on a stock engine.

Dented exhaust
Always seeing dented exhausts for sale. Most adverts say that this does not effect performance in any way. Surely its quite likely that it does, albeit minor. Can anybody confirm it?

Re: PX Disc mirror repair
Is the nut not held in position so you could wind it off and on? If not most wing mirrors are normally stuck with double sided type tape not glued, you should be able to confirm this with your old one. If so you would need to prise it off gently, maybe a bit of heat from a hairdryer and something wi...

Re: vespa px woes
You have changed the plug, but did you change for the same. I would go a couple cooler if you can. See if it runs for longer, to me it sounds like the coil is breaking down. Also when you go out next, drive really conservatively, keep revs low and see if that improves distance, i had a car once whic...

Re: Anybody know this GP purple ?
Get him to send you another picture with his name and date on a piece of paper in the picture with the bike. Then you will know at least he has access to the bike.
Could still be dodgy though.

Re: Ancillotti ve seat lock sizing
Update: Couldn't wait so filed out the hole and standard lock now fits. For some reason i had to swap the seat rubbers at the end for the smaller depth original ones so that seat would sit low enough for seat pin to sit deep enough into lock to catch. Middle rubbers although bigger than originals do...

Re: Ancillotti ve seat lock sizing
Thanks, looks like i am going to have ring them. I definitely don't need a longer lock but my standard lock is the shorter original type and keys are piaggio ones. The hole to slot the lock into is a few mm shy each side and i have tried to slide just the plate in underneath and thats about 4 longer...

Ancillotti ve seat lock sizing
Have the the above seat but original lock doesn't fit hole and seems slightly too long. Can anybody confirm that standard seat lock is interchangeable or does it need a different lock before i end up forcing it in?

Be helpful to know what exhaust you put on and what jetting is now. Also have you drilled air filer?
