Hope it's not too late for you, but try this link to a post of mine from a couple of years back on the very same subject ... some good advice from others who've done it http://www.scooterotica.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=32319&p=239303#p239303 (truth be told, I've still not converted mine,...

Re: Scootering mag
Still not in Tesco or Asda (York) as of tonight. Don't think it's ever been this late. Not a criticism btw, but I could usually pick up the following months edition from one of the big retailers around the last Wednesday of the current month.

Hi, I use Wasp for my 30mm phbh spares, very reaonable with promt delivery (£1.49 for small packets). Below is (hopefully) the URL for a 300 float valve (can't remember if I have 300 or 350 in mine, but you want 300 at the very least) https://www.wasp-performance.co.uk/onlineshop/prod_4028995-Carbur...

....I have to put a rag over the carb bell mouth when cold starting, what's likely to be the problem? A mate of mine suspects an air leak, as I suppose by using the old school rag method, I'm effectively restricting air intake. Would I be correct in thinking it's non electrical, as it does fire up v...

Which type or brand of hydraulic brake hose has the separate fittings?. I need this type as I have to route the hose first then add the fittings. Cheers Simon Simon, which hose & seperate fittings did you go for, as I have a similar issue, in that I need to route the hose 1st. Also, are the fit...

Re: Ron Moss - Avanti TT3 - Cylinder Kit - Review & Test....
Just finished mine and got about 50 or so miles on it. 4.8 on a super route pipe. Mtech retarding from 23 degrees to 16 degrees. 30 mil phbh. Started out x7 needle second from top, 55 pilot, Av266, 70 choke 40 slide, 122 main 300 fuel jet. Was running really lumpy low down and it killed a hot plug ...

I should add that once running it's spot on, no negative issues with the kit whatsoever. A genuine good touring kit that sits at GPS'd 65 mph mile after mile.
