Re: Fresco U bend
Don't dismiss the AF offer. I had an 80s AF VW 48mm cluman and bought a standard tailpipe 48mm clubman fron them in the 90s and the 2 are a perfect swap/fit, telling me that they used the same jig and manufactured it accurately. I then bought a TS1 flange u-bend so I could experiment and that too fi...

Re: Hard to start
Where is the PHBH from? Is it a YSN copy (don't read that as a negative... just a question for background)?

Re: New Casatronic (by Ducati) Static CDI Option
Hi George No, I've not tried the programmable ignitions. I have used a fair few different fixed profiles, not all linear, and still continue to use such ignitions on other motors, however, this motor had already shown itself to suit static (previously using a Varitronic with Readspeed CDI) but that ...

New Casatronic (by Ducati) Static CDI Option
It’s great, and much appreciated, when a dealership takes note of requests from its customers. Rimini Lambretta Centre are not the only dealer that fall into this camp, however, there are plenty of dealers that don’t; simply selling on whatever they happen to have on the shelf. In this case I approa...

Re: can this work ???
That's a very interesting barrel photo as it is thought provoking and obviously delivers enough of a result to have made it beyond the drawing board.

Re: Cylinder Identification
^... agreed. I revised the porting of mine to allow it to rev-on a little more. However, what I did note (from memory) was that the inlet port was very thin (low) and wide, and already beyond the duration of a TV200 barrel, which surprised me... and is not what I was expecting for a barrel that is i...

Re: Cylinder Identification
Sounds like it. I have a Lambro barrel that has the same characteristics; 66mm 200cc bore but 150 inlet stud spacing. Mine was fitted to a Series 3 import, many years ago. The standard port timings are odd on these, for 3-wheeler use, so they pull ok low down but have a seriously poor ability to rev...
