thanks, i will try this, i forgot to mention i have fuel vapour coming out of the mouth of the carb.

i was riding my 225 ts1 today and it started slowing up then picking up again (a bit like when you run out of fuel) then i came to a junction and stop for traffic. Both my scooters have jl 3 exhausts, one is stainless steel the other is normal steel. If I swap these exhausts over. Will I have to re jet the carbs ??
