Re: Oh No
I once had my cush drive ram into the chain case cover and lock up against it. The elliptical part had tried to cross over! Worn cush drive spring and parts led to the condition. I was sure it'd seized. Rear wheel turned with clutch in but not out = crank not turning. Was surprised when I opened it ...

Re: Chiselspeed M-tech advance/retard unit
Can someone explain the advantages of these devices, are they mainly for the rev type motors or will they work with low rev (6000) max engines Idle and low load really want more timing than is safe for high load. The devices retard timing as RPM increases. This is sort of a compromise - you are mak...

Re: Running indicators on 6volt non - battery
I have a Serveta that was 6v battery system originally. Did the simple AC changeover (12V AC using original stator) and the headlight pulsed too much with flasher on. Went with a BGM LED tail light and 2 LED indicator bulbs out of 4. Headlamp at 35W, pulsing is still there but it's good enough. With...

Re: Cheapo ali 185 kit, suggestions
As mentioned check fuel flow, tank venting, etc. Could be a fuel delivery problem. Especially if jetting looked good on the plug chops, etc.

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/non-issue
I believe it's still more American than English though, and more slang than proper in the first place.

When you say "that's an issue" I'm sure it makes sense. "It's a non-issue" means the opposite - this thing is not a problem.

Re: 190 not starting in cold. Please help
Whenever I hear that a scoot will only bump start I go back to the same thing - check the compression. Usually the answer comes back that it's low. If you don't have a gauge it will be worth your while to borrow one. If it's high then you can move on to multiple guess with carburetor and spark and a...

Re: holed piston
Maybe fuel supply issue (junk in the tank, plugged fuel filter, plugged carb screen, plugged gas tank vent)....
Just a thought.
