Taking all sugestions on board thanks. I have had the fuel tap apart and all appears ok, checked fuel running freely into container, this is the original tap and has worked ok in the past. I have also checked the fuel cap breather holes again clear. The feedback I get when riding at full throttle is...

Hi ForemanBob, thanks for your post. If I ride at a low rpm I can manage to creep home, the problem seams to be once ive travelled say half a mile up the road on full throtle the engine just shuts down. if i back off the throttle it starts to pick up and i then coax home on low rpm. When i drained the tank to check the filter it was quite slow but when I returned home with the problem tonight I stripped the carb down straight away and thye fuel bowl was full? I did strip the fuel trap when i cleaned the tank filter and all appeared to be well. Chris

Hi, new to this forum wondered if I could get some advise. I have a 1963 Li125 series 3. Had a problem with the engine dying when throttle opened full in 4th gear.
