Re: Shed work almost there but not quite!
It was a major problem in the end...... it was the pillock that did the installation work!!!! Oh hang on---- thats me! User error basically. In my haste to tinker I had forgotten that I had jetted it for use with a remote air filter. Obviously (prat) I was tinkering with the mouth open. A com...

Re: Shed work almost there but not quite!

There is not a hint of fuel at low throttle as far as I can tell I am considering stripping the carb and boiling the body in water with lemon ju...

Re: Mikuni - where's mi nipple adjustment - ooh er missus
yes i normally snip it then solder up the end and, with an old brass pulley, leave enough spare to fit a spare nipple on the end. it does also help to have some cable adjustment at the carb end, so maybe use an elbow with screw in adjuster ? Bloody hell........... another top tip (or two) Was wonde...

Mikuni - where's mi nipple adjustment - ooh er missus
Evening chaps I'm about to go into tinker mode (well next weekend) ..... new clutch, expansion, carb etc Anyway re the carb... I have a Mikuni copy to nail on.... it has come with an inner throttle cable. Now all my Lambos have had Delorto/Jettex carbs where the adjustable nipple is at the carb end....

Re: Clutch slip only in 3rd/4th
Ok guys so another question or 5 I can get these Surflex corks for about £15 OR a 5 plate assembly (steels/cork/springs) for £38 So is a 5 plate worth it? My engine is bog standard but I do have a shiny expansion and carb to nail on over the winter Not sure if the 5 plate kit has stronger springs....
