Re: problems fitting drop bars
Are they scootrs made drops? I fitted some SX type drops to my Lammy and apart from reducing the area where the brake housing is mounted they fit and work a treat. There maybe some dodgy copies doing the rounds. Pete

Re: taffspeed copy
Well i'm only going from my own personal experiance. I purchased from Siagon scooter a horncasting for a series 3 LI that was too short, a set of wheel rims that were too wide and made from tin foil and the exhaust mentioned previously that did'nt fit without messing with. Re: taffspeed copy
I made the mistake of buying one of these copies because it was a lot cheaper than a UK / European made pipe. It did'nt fit very well ( loads of bending and filing ) and it lasted less than a year. I've got to go with Gp Kevo on this one, pay the extra and buy UK / European made parts.

Re: Oil leak – opinions if you please
I agree, no need to change anything.Daggs wrote:There is an o-ring seal under the gear arm and the gear shaft passes through a bush that could be worn.
However the seal is there to stop oil that is splashing around in the gearbox from escaping. It's not normally subjected to being 'submerged' in oil.
