Mine are fitted with a PM double disc,so the fork links are swapped ,which means welding a place for the damper to bolt to.At the top the damper is mounted to the outside of the bracket.i used a nylon spacer inside the bracket and a long bolt through the lot.Works well for me.Hope this helps Tom I ...

could be badly adjusted cables or worst case worn sliding dog or second gear sounds serious but not a big job plenty of good advice and knowledgeable guys on here that will keep you right Agree jumping in second sounds like your gear selectors worn..have a read of stickys book if your not sure also...

the piston you have looks like a Suzuki ts250 word of warning mate don't buy any patern piston or rings off e.pay they are made of cheese,you may also need some spacers for your gudgeon pin

more than happy with mine ran a tuned ts1 high bhp franspeed race pipe, the cyclone gearbox performed well (always a revvy monster) always had the edge on pick up and had the power on inclines ,dropped a ring peg and I found a crack on the spigot of the barrel from a repair...just had a cast iron rs...

agree with vespanic make sure you are able to locate 1st and 5th gear,a tip I would use is when you fit the box jack your back wheel off the ground spin your wheel and check if you can get all gears by moving your gear arm,then leave in 5th and make sure your tie bar can move far enough back to slot...

I have one in my ts1 now set up runs ok no problem over 25bhp (glad I fitted a standard gear selector spring) any problems rlc happy to help out

Stupid question, but obviously you did refit the 5-speed selector when you swapped gearboxes from 4-speed back to 5-speed didn't you? If it jumps out of 5th then there are a few things to check: * if the rubber cover on the tie rod is touching the rear shock casting * if the nearest rubber cable ga...
