Sorry but I think this is a waste of time and paper. The one from 1997 that came the other day was printed on poor quality paper and the text was unreadable in places. If you can live this is most of us do, just put a bulb horn on once a year for the MOT, they are allowed pre-1973 and that will sort things easily. Shaun. Hi. Never had the tick=over problems you describe and have used all weights (my pref=the 'mid' 1.8 kg)
Suggest your missfire issue is to do with pick-up missalignment with the trigger on the current flywheel.
(Trying to kewp it a simple logical diagnosis work through here).

Yes: Standard options are either standard 107mm rod 60mm stroke crank or 116mm rod 60mm stroke crank. The 116 would be my preference in your shoes
