Do this many times in my job it works on broken studs damaged screws any think with a thread .And have actually done this job not so long a go .firstly clean the head of screw .place a m8 or m10 nut over the screw head and hold with a pair of long nose pliers .using a mig welder set to a good penatr...

another thought is to mill 1mm of the back of the support plt. as its 4mm thick .that would give about 5mm clearance if i lose the bottom guide as well

one of the washers that sits next to the bearing .if it can touch the outer edge of the bearing .it will make the wheel bind

Hi Darren I had what sounds like the same problem with my GP when I changed the 150 GP box for an Li 150 one and after lots of changed parts and adjustments shims etc it was fixed the way knowledge said. hi lazarus found filings on magnetic drain plug too much for 10 miles . so this evening strippe...

good tips knowledge like it . but the kick start is not engaging on first gear . with engine running put hand on kickstart push down 1/2 inch and then the plunger engages 1st gear .gp end plt . had no problems until i changed gear boxes.

pretty shore now i found the problem .went for a ride on the main road 30-40 mph .do a leisurely change down from 4th to 3rd and the gears wont mesh.do a quick one and they mesh .give it the gun in first and there is defintley a ting ting coming from the gear box .so stripping down when i can . chan...
