After much piddling about with carb jettings it turns out the that problem was with my Stator... A BGM Stator.... Looking at the rest of the plug, I would say that the mixture could be a bit rich.(Depending on throttle position of course).. I would have thought this would be the signs of the plug beginning to break down. I would try another plug bruv..!

New exhaust fitted....! Got it from my local dealership (Resurrection Scooters) in Burton on Trent. They let us have it for £100. Its actually a scootrs pipe.. fitting would have been okay if i didnt have to fit bigger studs.... as the originals had vibrated loose and stripped the threads. Oh well....

Here are some more photos of my scoot. Finished off fitting her new exhaust today, after carrying out some repairs. The exhaust studs had vibrated out and the threads had stripped.. I ended up fitting 8mm studs instead of the normal 7 mm. I had to drill out the exhaust flange bolt holes just a tad t...

Cheers Lazarus....! Might just go for one afterall.. They are cheap enough. Welding aint a problem.. it can be ground back and rewelded if needed. The joys of being an engineer.. Just have to mess about.. even with new stuff.. lol. I like the idea of a bigger carb too..! :D MIKE...! (my dear brother...

Hiya folks. After the long "there and back" run to Brid last weekend... the standard exhaust that was donated by my brother finally gave up the ghost and is blowing from all orifices...! Now I am looking to replace the exhaust and want something more... fancy..? I have seen a chrome expans...

I like that MG...! Cheers..its been a real good un, had her 2 years and never missed a beat, 2.5 V6 190+ 42,000 miles, major torque.she would pull a small island, driven correctly I can pull 28 MPG..Heavy boot and she drinks more than the Mrs.... :shock: British cars aint so bad..... Its all I will...

Nice scoot..! I like that MG...! That would look great on my drive parked next to my Sterling.... and my R 25... and my Leyland Princess...! :) Been out tonight tazzing about... thats took my mileage up to 80 now...! Getting there slowly. Cant wait to give it a fist full...! Must get a deacent speed...
