Forum now on new server

Is it just me or is the site really fast now?

No, not just you. It's so much better now. I reduced my visits here previously, because i couldn't stand the pages taking forever to load and jumping around.

I took a database backup and couldnt get on...did it work for you guys or did i lock everyone out?

yes it went down just as i was posting a reply ...so relieved to know that its your fault dan and not the forum crashing for any other reason

Yes, about 3 days worth.....what's gone is gone unfortunately, but feel free to start anything again that you wish to.

Anyone using the style 'getaway' will at some point be automatically switched over to the default style, as we are removing getaway. We have a long list of alterations to make now we are on the new server and the web development team are working through them day by day. So don't be alarmed if those using 'getaway' soon see the forum differently.
