I am 64 yrs today and this was the beginning of my life in July,1964 when i was 16yrs with my Green Panelled GT 200 with 4mls on the clock, just picked it up from the garage just down the road. It ended up Orange & Black and sadly this is the only picture of it. It was sprayed by Medway Scooters and was the first GT to have this style of front mudguard which soon caught on. My respray was FREE to advertise for spraying as the scooter scene was on the up!
I successfully tuned it myself similar to Don Noys spec. with centre plug etc. all done by myself even all those years ago. It was a fast machine especially being one of the first early GT200 with the tall gear ratio`s and the long narrow porting and wide exhaust port in the cylinder, always breaking rings!!
