clear floatbowl

Just got it today,it comes with a new brass bottom nut ,the one that holds the main jet,my carb has a black plastic bowl,the new nut fits ok ,which one should i use ???

sorry for being flippant matey (excuse the pun)
but why not just fit the new one that is provided.
have you tried either..?
do they leak..?

i think ther different as one has o ring seal and other has firbre one ,and someone has the prob on lcgb and wanted to clarify as dont want it to go bad.EG petrol all over the place!!

i cracked on and it leaks like a trooper,cant do it up any more as will crack it,so its back to the naff black one,cheers
Well thats answered your question my friend..

only ever used the o-ring jobby and never had a problem..seem to remember there was an issue with them clear bowls..!!!
