Hi, does anyone knoow how/where the series 80's mounted the CDI unit? I have just realised that there are no mounting holes on the rear tube although there is a bracket welded on the other side.

Cheers

This is what I've done on a Jet that I have worked.
I've used an electronic mounting bracket.
In the place of original regulator,I put the CDI,
the regulator can be mounted in either side.
