stripped engine tonight,barrel bore measured 61.5mm +piston as well,getting it tuned by sean(thanks) now went on af site to order piston and their smallest size is 62mm i hope this will be ok or the vernier calipers might be out a tad ?

thats why i asked you ........when we spoke on the phone ......what bore your barrel piston was.................i said it should be 62mm..............
if not,can only presume its a bored out 150.or even 125............so not so good...............
so no point in buying a new piston for this i,m afraid...............
what you need is a new 175 kit from AF.............then possibly the required porting from me...................

thanks sean,got this kit from a scooter shop,(not mention name) they actually fitted it, i saw the box it said stage 4 175kit indian, then the plug thread diddn`t go right through the head so they put on a af ally head so they said.

must say matey ,it all sounds a bit strange.........i,m afraid.......
i think your best bet would be to buy a new 175 kit from AF............then take it from there.

i think theirs a choice of 3 or 4 types

wot i`m going to do sean is take the barrel +piston to a gentleman opp our works who builds up classic bikes, he got all the tools /laithes he does re-bores the lot ,and ask him just to check in case then i`ll get back to u
