Would that not impede air flow?

And aren't there some spanish cases getting around that have the facility to fit a starter?

looks like vespa componants...modified flywheel/starter motor.
and modified flange of course,i can see this getting some real interest .

i would have thought that mb would have made this improvement to the lambretta,maybe ian could ask about this,.
i certainly put them on all my scooters,
who is the guy that is doing this,or is it a one off conversion?scootrs have not pushed this for some time, anyone got one of these?

As Red Ghost says there are Spanish mag housings about with provision to fit a starter motor in I`ve seen them at parts fairs, whether there were actually any Spanish electric start Lambrettas made I`m not sure, but Buzz Solo Moto would know, he would have the mag housings as well I would have thought.
