I just checked and cannot find a TZR 150 listed. I can see a TZR125 and a TZR250, but no 150. What years of manufacture?
Are you putting it in a J range/Vega?

Yes it's to go in the Reed Valve conversion i'm slowly getting round to for my Vega. The bore will end up around 59mm. I think the piston evolved through 125 conversions, i'm not sure about the 250cc piston i would have thought it too big. Cheers :)

Biggest I can see is 57.90 for a TZR 125, that is the last overbore.
A DT 125 has the last overbore at 58mm, no idea on stroke,/crown height.
My 'Ol Lady has a J125. The last conversion I did on one ran a MK1 Amal, a handbuilt Kegra pipe and a Fantic piston. Went like the clappers :)
Would love to come up with something a requires a bit less work for her scoot, but still does the business ;) .

The TZR piston 59mm is almost a perfect match to the standard Starstream piston 57mm. The pegs match up but the crown height is 2mm taller so you use a packer plate. I'm running one at the moment but it's had the holes welded up plus i want to have the option of both "kits" in case one nips up. Perhaps Mick Abbey will have something in mind piston wise when i take it to him, i'm just testing the water in case there is a problem finding a piston to work . ;)
