I'm building up an Indian case & wondering if Loctite 243 is up to the job of holding
the end plate dowels in place.
Thanks.

If the dowels are a bit slack in the holes. Use a centre punch to dot them in three or four places, then loctite them in.

Be careful when using the thread lock, put too much in and it may burst through the casing (as it did on one of my endplate bolts

Thanks for the replies.
I've just been having a good look at it.
Odd but the dowel can be pushed through the end plate its self, even though its a tight fit.
Or should i say could, I've just had a chisel on it & deformed the hole with a gentle tap.
I'm sure they don't normally push through or maybe someone had done this to the end plates I've come across before.
Anyway its sorted.
Thanks
