Has any one got the gps app on their i phone
its great put it in your pocket go for a blast and it records
your top speed average speed ect its ace pretty cool for 52p :biggrin:

whats it called because when i looked last year there were a few and they didn't work

i was using the motionx gps app for a while, chewed through battery though and speed reading were high when compared with other car gps, but like you said fun for the money!

ive had it in a car it reads the same as sat nav

Down loaded this app to try out. The average speed seems correct but the top speed up to now is a little optimistic.

not sure exactly which gps app you are using sion? but in my experience i found the "motionx" app gave inaccurate top speed figures when tested alongside a garmin gps.
i am not doubting it's quick if it's putting out 33bhp on John's dyno it WILL fly!

I down loaded the one at the top of the thread.GPS app, it was out on the top speed on my first run. 55MPH actual speed.66MPH recorded by the App.

Average speed was 46MPH, The App recorded an average of 46.2MPH so pretty good.
