A few weeks ago i went down to my local car wreckers and removed the seat adjuster rails out of a car to adapt to fit on my series 2 and take a saddle seat over the top of the filler cap, then i could slide it back and forth to fill up and change my sitting postion on long trips, i was going to have this ready for the Spanish Euro but have been too buisy, i havent come up with a better idea than useing seat adjusters, has anyone else done simular.6LDA 28B wrote:djh66 i just want to hijack this slightly, now a few of us are fat bstardswe would like a single seat that is back further say six inches but then it fails the fuel filler has anyone seen a flip up singe seat or could you make a flip up seat

Love the seat adjuster rail idea!
I ask because the Indian seats look (to me) fatter and slant up from front to back. But it might just be me! The reason I ask is, do I re use the indian saddles with new covers, and will the standard saddle cover fit the Indian saddles
