My Gp was rebuilt last year and was garaged most of the winter before it's nightime maiden voyage last week.
Whilst out I noticed with the high beam on you can just about see on low it's pathetic and the rear is very bright so much so it overpowers the brake light.
It's a full TS1 with electronic ignition etc in a GP frame.
I am shite with electrics so would appreciate some advice.

your rear light issue could simply be the tail light wire and the brake light wire in the wrong sockets.

Scootering since 1968.
This would also make the headlight dimmer than it should be.bristolmod wrote:your rear light issue could simply be the tail light wire and the brake light wire in the wrong sockets.

Do you mean into the regulator or connection to the back light ?
The connections at the rear light.
Cheers guys I will switch them over and see what happens

some of the GP light units aren't too precision made and do allow this...
Well the back light is sorted I think there is an issue with the front bulb but it was the rear that had me scratching me head !
