Yeh all original paint, and working lights!!
T-cut gently to give it a new start then got a load of that AC50 stuff over and under it to help protect it, im just going to apply that every once in a while to keep the elements at bay.
Its back to the condition i got it in when i bought it, including the massive scoop out of one of the panels complete with a home made panel handle. i think both (panel handles) secure the panels finishing in the wrong direction?

, and a cracked floor runner, extra holes drilled by the sprint rack.. improved air flow!

ha... etc.
Its Just had new cables, some new rubber, new fixings, bit of engine work an exhaust, carb and 12v...

It's amaing how the Silver Special silver holds up. Later silvers on cars and such didn't hold up for squat.
On a side note,- sold a Silver Special to a customer once that looked like crap, all orange and black paint sprayed over the sliver. The helper and I decided to throw a days elobow grease at it. When she came to pick it up after the mechanicals had been done, she walked right past it and didn't even recognize it. Result! She was well chuffed when she sussed what had happened.
