evening..
just noticed tonight that when the lights are on, even the slightest movement from the throttle the lights flicker on and off.
i take it its an earthing problem,
it obviously happens when the throttle roller lifts a fraction from the headset bottom.. i've earthed the headlight, speedo, and ran an earth to the magflange which picks up the earts from the rear light and cdi and reg..
its a new rebuild so i doubt its worn wires touching the throttle bar from the light switch or something like
have i missed something??
i guess its an earth problem

I just had a similar problem, redid all earths with no success, finally traced the problem to a poor connection in the switch itself.
