GP200 ie SX200 2594** What to do

Have one of the very last GP200 cases, never heard on one later and certainly beyond the range shown on the various sites

got it off a mate who was restoring an electronic and had it blasted but they went mental and kicked the life out of it

it broke my mates heart and he gave up on the project

anyway how to put some life back into the case, its perfect apart from the finish

would shot peening help? is it as rough as it looks in the pic?

some of the plastic coated cases look good.
silver might make it look better.

a good thick powder coat flatted off might make it look better

is the engine number still visible dave.............?
or has the corse sandblasting damaged it..........?

kind of ,the shot smooths the surface that is ragged from blasting
