Anybody running one of these yet?

Is there any benefit over a standard, vented disc, like this one?:

I need a to buy a new brake disc for my original Innocenti disc brake with Taffspeed hydraulic conversion.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

No one? Ok, LTH says that the Newfren brake disc pictured above needs to have the mounting holes drilled out as they are too tight a fit, but I've heard that about the standard discs as well.

these in my oppinion will be an improvement over standard but the pads will wear out quicker though

Is that because of the large vents in the disc? And the improvement would be due to cooling? I'll take less brake fade if I have to change pads more often. It's a road bike but brake fade is noticeable when I'm descending mountains.

yes and cutouts will prevent glaze on the pads

I can't garantee it will be better but in threory it should be
