22mm jetex on an SR175 kit
it was kicking out so much fuel at low revs that the bellows would collect it and then the bike wouldn't run at low revs, or start again, until the air hose was removed... and then it would be fine

drilled the small hole in bottom of hose for drainage
changed the jets for dellorto ones
checked the choke operation
checked float, needle etc

it's like the float bowl is getting too full, there seems too much fuel in there when I take it off...

tried a known good dellorto 22mm, and it was better, but still spitting out more than is nice...

anything else apart from the carb could be causing this ??

I haven't checked the timing yet
It's got the worse piston slap I've ever heard...

i would check to see if the piston is in the right way...
if its been fitted the wrong way around the narrower skirt (thats usually on ex side) will sometimes expose the inlet port and give the symptoms that you describe.........
