Is the Nicasil knackered?

A couple of years ago my mugello blew a piston after about 200 miles. I took it all off, chucked it in the shed in a huff and never looked at it again. The other day I found it and I'm not sure that the barrel is as knackered as I first thought. There are some marks on the bore but how do you know if the nicasil has gone through?
I'll post some pics later if I can take some that are clear enough.

Try honing it with one of those three-prong thingies you put in a Drill. It takes off all the smeared aluminium, but leaves the Nicasil intact. Did the same to my Monza Barrel...

a similar thing happened to me a couple of years ago with a mugello, cylinder looked not too bad so honed it and fitted a new piston , lasted about 1500 miles (maybe) before the rings tried to escape out the exhaust port .miles from home

completey f****d this time
