hi all,
I can't seem to get the chaincase cover to come off my Li150 III, it's like it's glued to the chaincase...
tried fumbling with the clutcharm, kickstart,... can't get it to move.
any tips?

Use the double nut method,
(if the studs are long enough to tight 2 nuts),
to extract as many studs as possible.

Try a gentle tap around the casing with a mallett it should only be the gasket , Daft Question but You have taken all the nuts off ???

yes I've taken 'em all off!
I tried gentle tapping, less gentle tapping and nearly tried hammering it!
I never had one stuck like this, normally a little fumbling pops 'em right off.
I was thinking of putting a big bolt in the oil drain plug and popping it off like that, but I'm afraid I'll damage the casing. :baddevil:

Try pulling the clutch lever in with all the studs undone .......usually works.

as rog says ,that usually does the trick...maybe try a large adjustable spanner on it to help..

What I have done before is to fish some wire through the oil fill and overflow holes (or the oil overflow and drain holes), making sure to get in between the chain and chaincase cover, twist the ends together and wrap a towel around the wire and then pulled.
