when building a yamaha IT175 piston TS1 200cc top end would it be a good idea to use a 60mm crank as opposed a 58mm one ??????

will it affect the smooth charecteristics and/or improve performance?????

cheers

Special race-tour piston and all fitted together with a RT kit
should end up with 255cc
using a 24mm mikuni and clubman exhaust

What about using the off set cones to gain a few mm's?

I use an IT 175 piston on me TS1 200 too. Crank is a BGM 60/115/16 but the barrel is lowered 1,5mm at the base. Using a 1mm base and 1mm head gasket gives a squish around 1,2 mm with a central spark mmw head.
