bent layshaft

wow, that whole engine must be ready for the bin...

I just got a MB layshaft, it looks really nice!

Check the layshaft needle bearing race in the endplate. If it is worn at all it can cause the layshaft to spin just slightly out-of-true and then the layshaft will then be off balance causing your rear wheel to wobble.

Either way, when you replace your layshaft, you should replace the layshaft needle bearing race in the endplate.
